# Overlay

This effect provides color correction to your scenes by overlaying a color or a gradient using a specified blend mode to the screen, or it can act as a simple texture layer.

| Parameter              | Description                                                                                   |
| ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Source Type            | Type of the overlay channel, color, gradient or a texture.                                    |
| Color/Gradient/Texture | Color/gradient/texture to be overlayed.                                                       |
| Source Alpha           | If texture overlay is used, defines whether to treat input texture alpha as the alpha source. |
